It protects external and internal surfaces from infiltration, stains appearing and joints darkening

The Eucatex Silicone is indicated to protect external and internal surfaces of exposed bricks, exposed concrete, porous ceramics, clay tiles and concrete blocks. Besides preventing infiltration, it avoids stains appearing, premature darkening of joints and the penetration of humidity inside buildings. It is a product which does not modify the gloss, maintaining the appearance of the surface unaltered and allowing it to “breathe” normally

Resin with a silicone basis, special additives and aliphatic solvents. It does not contain alcohol or kerosene.

According to  ABNT NBR 13.245.

  • In the case of substrate with waxes, polishes, fats and oil strains, it is advisable to use steel wool and/or tow soaked in Eucatex Thinner 9116. Observe attentively so that residue does not remain on these materials, as it can jeopardize the drying/adherence of the Eucatex Silicone. The repetition of the  process two or three times ensures the complete removal of these materials;
  • Ensure that the floor is free of water or humidity, as it jeopardize the performance of the product;
  • Removal of dirt: use a damp cloth or soft sponge with neutral detergent. Then, clean with a damp cloth;
  • The practical yield can vary owing to the application method, the geometry of the structure, rugosity and absorption of the surface, thicknss of the product layer deposited, atmospheric conditions and application technique;
  • Do not apply it on vitrified surfaces.
